ISSUES
Over the next two years, an Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee (INC) will convene in a series of meetings to develop a new international legally binding instrument on plastic pollution. In line with our ongoing work assisting Small Island Developing States (SIDS) at the United Nations, the Guarini Center, through the support of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD), has developed a new webinar series aimed at highlighting SIDS issues as they relate to the development of a new global agreement on plastics.
