The Natural Gas Forecast: Legal, Political and Economic Factors Affecting Gas Generation in the US
April 30, 2018, 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm EDT
The outlook for natural gas fired generation across America defies easy prediction. With record levels of production ongoing, the EIA expects that prices will remain low in 2018, which should support the continued ascendance of gas generation. At the same time, a number of states have introduced policies that could bolster alternative forms of generation and reduce the market share for gas. On April 30th, the Guarini Center will host a distinguished group of energy industry experts for a discussion about how these various legal, political and economic factors are impacting the outlook for natural gas fired generation across the United States.
