Adalene Minelli
Senior Fellow
Adalene is a Senior Fellow at the Guarini Center. Her current work and research interests include local climate resilience, wild animals in the built environment, and international environmental law and policy. In her time at the Guarini Center, Adalene has also worked on and led projects focusing on building decarbonization, local land use, environmental markets, and providing capacity building assistance to the small island developing states in international treaty negotiations.
Prior to joining the Guarini Center, Adalene worked as a consultant to UNEP’s Division of Environmental Law and Conventions, where she led research on the interplay between the various multilateral environmental conventions and the Sustainable Development Goals. She received her dual BA in Environmental Studies and Political Science from Stony Brook University, her JD from Cardozo School of Law, and her LLM in Environmental and Energy Law from New York University School of Law.
