SUMMARY:Carbon Prices at Universities? Insights from Yale University’s Experience
DESCRIPTION:In 2017\, Yale University adopted an internal carbon charge across its campus\, becoming one of the first universities in the United States to do so. Under Yale’s pioneering program\, buildings throughout the university are charged $40 per ton of carbon dioxide that is emitted as a result of the energy they consume.
