DESCRIPTION:President Joe Biden has pledged to pursue a starkly different energy policy than the prior administration. Among other things\, Biden has promised to dramatically curb methane emissions from the oil and gas sector\, cut fossil fuel subsidies\, and put the US on a path to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050. Achieving these goals will require sweeping changes to federal energy and environmental laws.
