Isabel Cavelier is Co-founder and Director of Vision of Transforma, senior advisor to the Mission2020, director of strategy at the International Climate Politics Hub, and senior fellow at the New York University School of Law. Isabel is a Lawyer and a Professional in Languages and Sociocultural Studies from Los Andes University, and holds a Master of Laws from Cambridge University. She has worked as a Minister Counsellor at the Colombian Mission to the UN in New York and as a foreign affairs adviser on environmental and sustainable development issues. She was the first leader of the Support Unit within for Independent Association of Latin America & Caribbean (AILAC). She has been consultant at UN Women, and the UN’s High Commissioner’s Office for Human Rights in Colombia. She has published books and articles on Colombian foreign policy, climate finance, climate change and human rights, gender justice and radical discrimination, among others.
