Our Team
David Hamer
International Plastics Fellow
David is an International Plastics Fellow at the Guarini Center. His current research focuses on international environmental law and global marine plastic pollution.
David holds a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Arts from Macquarie University and an LLM from New York University School of Law, with the latter focusing on public international law, international environmental law, and human rights. At NYU, he engaged with emerging international legal issues relating to sea-level rise as a Student Advisor to the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Maldives to the UN, and was a Graduate Editor of NYU’s Journal of International Law and Politics. Prior to his LLM, David worked as a litigation associate in Sydney.
